The watcher watching the watcher is interesting because of the relation to how we are always being watched. Whether it be by a shop surveillance camera, cell phone, or baby monitors; there is always a way for you to see yourself or someone to see you. Having the numerous types of image producing devices surrounding us, it is similar to having your life being on broadcast before you.

Using video to reference any problem or situation, like filth, I feel allows for viewers to grasp more meaning and get a broader emotional connection to the content depending on what it is. The belief that video cannot be "photo-shopped" and still has an element of truth is interesting but also creates another element to be played with and explored in video art.
