The use of printed images on top one another creates a sense of depth while still being flat. It allows the viewer to question if it is real or fake in the beginning until it is blatantly obvious that it is indeed strips of paper. I felt the use of paper towel as meat wrapping was also well done because it is a small detail that could have been left out, already plated but was not. It added the idea of freshness to the ingredient that was being prepared. When the items were being cooked the press of the button changing the number on the stove screen was well done and made it feel interactive for the viewer even more.
