Assignment 4: TAY

In the conversation I had with a child, it occurred to me that sometimes words and visuals are both represented in the way that we were taught or learned that they should be represented. In creating a pixel overlay with an embossed tone to the doll characters, I wanted to make a joined but separate scene that entered and left the browser at the same time. The idea of seeing the mermaid doll with the human hand interacting with it rather than moving freely in commercials is also a play on this idea. The audio is a conversation between me and a child during play that I recorded without her knowledge to provide an accurate idea of what we talk about when a conversation runs dry.
